Wendy Li Bertrams
As a Southern California-based painter, I work in oil and water medium, each medium offering a unique way to express the emotions and beauty I find in the world. My passion for art began early in life, and from a young age I was fortunate to study under the guidance of a master artist, that laid the foundation for my creative path.
In later years, I continued to nurture my love for painting by taking art classes at Fullerton College and attending workshops led by master artists. These experiences combines with ongoing personal practice, have helped me develop my own artistic voice, one that blends classical and contemporary technique with a deep emotional connection to the natural world.
I find endless inspiration in nature, whether through travel, museum visits, or simply observing the changing light in a landscape. These moments fuel my creativity and are often reflected in the mood and composition of my work.
Over time, my dedication to growth and exploration has been recognized through awards in art competitions. But more than personal achievement, I find joy in sharing my art with others. I believe in the power of art to connect, inspire, and uplift.
